today felt like how it did in the falls we walked home together after school
too much breeze and ignoring running noses and absolute happiness and warmth
kind of clumsily swaying side to side when we walked because we hadn’t learned how to stand up straight yet (you know exactly how your long hair danced from shoulder to shoulder, we even lurched forward a bit!)
wearing a cardigan for the first time in a long time, and wearing an uncomfortably heavy backpack!
listening to my favorite album from high school, did you know that i didn’t let myself listen to it for a whole year because i’m dumb?
